Raabta is an upcoming Indian film directed by Dinesh Vijan and produced by Homi Adajania, Bhushan Kumar and Dinesh Vijan. The film stars Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon in lead roles. The music for Raabta will be composed by Pritam. It is scheduled for release on 9 June 2017.[1][2]

Production
The film production began in 2015 and it was set to release in 2016. But the film was delayed for a year due to casting issues. In March 2016, a new release date of 9 june 2017 was announced.[5]
Casting
Initially Alia Bhatt signed the film to play the lead role with Sushant Singh Rajput but Bhatt turned down the role due to date issues. In February 2016, Kriti Sanon was signed on to play the leading female role in the film.[6]
