Rai 5 is an Italian television channel owned by Rai and broadcast on Digital terrestrial television in Italy. The channel replaced Rai Extra. It broadcasts programs about art, fashion, dance, opera, theatre, cuisine, travel, and documentary films.
Eurovision Song Contest
Rai 5 has broadcast since 2011 the semifinal of the Eurovision Song Contest where Italy has to vote.
