Redęcin [rɛˈdɛnt͡ɕin] (German: 1297–1672 Reddenthin, 1672–1945 Reddentin)[1] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Słupsk, within Słupsk County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[2] It lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) west of Słupsk and 114 km (71 mi) west of the regional capital, Gdańsk. Before 1945 the area was part of Germany. For the history of the region, see History of Pomerania. The village has a population of 217.
