Robert Molyneux

Father Robert Molyneux, S.J. (died 1808) was the second and fifth Presidents of Georgetown University.

Molyneux was born in England.[1] So far as is known, he was one of the first to edit a catechism in America. He was a priest among the Catholics in Maryland and Pennsylvania.[2]

Molyneux, became the first superior of the restored the Society of Jesus in Maryland, and held the presidency of Georgetown University for a second term until his death, in 1808.[3]
