S. P. Velumani (Tamil: எஸ். பி. வேலுமணி ; born 10 May 1969) is an Indian politician and incumbent Member of the Legislative Assembly of Tamil Nadu from Thondamuthur constituency. He is also the cabinet minister for Municipal Administration, Rural Development, Corporations, Panchayats and Panchayat Unions, Poverty Alleviation Programmes, Rural Indebtedness, Urban and Rural Water Supply (TWAD) and Implementation of Special Programme. He is a member of All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam political party led by Selvi.J.Jayalalithaa which is the third largest party in the Indian Parliament. He is one of the organisational secretaries of the party and also the District Secretary of Coimbatore District.

Velumani is a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Tamil Nadu for three times continuously. He was first elected from the Perur constituency in 2006, then the Perur constituency was removed in 2007 when the constituency bifurcation was done. Some areas of the Perur constituency were added to Thondamuthur constituency then he was elected twice from the Thondamuthur constituency.[1]
