Sarantuya
Sarantuya (Mongolian: Батмөнхийн Сарантуяа; born on April 20, 1970, Ulaanbaatar), known simply as Saraa, is a Mongolian mezzo-soprano singer who has been a major figure in the pop music scene of the Mongol races since the late 1980s. She is still very popular among the Mongolian population as of the queen of the Mongolian pop music.[1] Saraa is the highest-selling Mongolian artist of all time. She has quite a number of hits under her name such as "Torson odriin bayar", "Bi jargaltai", "Argagui amrag" just to name a few.
Biography
Sarantuya's mother is of Yakut descent. Sarantuya started off singing in a small band called "Mungun Harandaa" (trans. Silver Pencil)
Personal life
Saraa is single and has two children: a son and a daughter. At some point, she got a lot of headlines by marrying a somewhat popular figure - Boldkhuyag, then Golomt Bank executive

Awards
Sarantuya, known as the "Pop Diva", was named the "Singer of the Century" - an unprecedented honour ever bestowed upon an artist in the country's history. She also received numerous awards one of which is "Best Artist" from Pentatonic, a mainstream music festival held annually.
