Sleep Like Breathing

"Sleep Like Breathing" is a song by English singer Alison Moyet, released in 1987 as the fourth and final single from her second studio album Raindancing. The song is a duet with David Freeman, who co-wrote the song with Joseph Hughes. Freeman and Hughes are best known as the duo The Lover Speaks. The song was produced by Jimmy Iovine, Hughes and Freeman.

The song failed to reach the UK Top 40. It peaked at #80 and remained in the Top 100 for three weeks.^[1]

A promotional video was filmed for the single.^[2]

The single's B-side is "Love Resurrection (Live)". This live version of Moyet's 1984 debut hit single was exclusive to the single. The 12" version of the single featured two more live songs: "Ne Me Quitte Pas" and "Don't Burn Down the Bridge". All three live tracks were recorded and mixed at Wembley Arena on 13 May 1987.^[3]
