Spadola is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Vibo Valentia in the Italian region Calabria, located about 40 kilometres (25 mi) southwest of Catanzaro and about 25 kilometres (16 mi) southeast of Vibo Valentia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 813 and an area of 9.6 square kilometres (3.7 sq mi).[1]
