State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan

The State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan (Tatar: Татарстан Республикасы Дәүләт Советы; Russian: Государственный Совет Республики Татарстан) is the unicameral legislature of the Russian Republic of Tatarstan. It has hundred seats. Fifty are for the representatives of the political parties, while the other fifty are from the republic's localities. The members are elected for five years. The presiding officer is the Chairman of the State Council.
