Stenoma heteroxantha is a moth in the Depressariidae family. It was described by Meyrick in 1931. It is found in Paraguay[1] and Brazil.
The wingspan is 16-17 mm. The forewings are orange-yellow, with the costal edge whitish and the stigmata small, indistinct and violet-brownish, the plical obliquely beyond the first discal. There are rather small violet-brownish spots on the costa at the middle and three-fourths, and on the tornus. The hindwings are pale grey or whitish-grey.[2]
