Stephen Found

Stephen Found is the owner of Foundation Theatres Pty Limited (formerly Foundation Entertainment Group Limited). He is the Managing Director of Sydney's Capitol Theatre and Sydney Lyric Theatre.

Career

His career spans 30 years in the entertainment and hi-tech service industries, and he is renowned for his innovative approach to both technical and commercial challenges.

As the founding shareholder and Managing Director of Bytecraft Entertainment (now part of Production Resource Group of which Stephen is Chairman[1]), the organisation has developed into an international player, credits including work with the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games, World Youth Day, 2006 Commonwealth Games and the 2006 Asian Games in Doha.

Stephen is also the founder of Bytecraft Systems Pty Ltd, now a Tatts Group ASX listed subsidiary company. Bytecraft Systems was founded in 1984 and is Australia’s leading electronic repairer of high security, transactional equipment.

In May 2009, Capitol Theatre Management Pty Limited became a wholly owned subsidiary of Foundation Entertainment Group Limited, oh which Stephen is Managing Director.[2] Sydney Lyric Theatre Pty Limited has been owned and operated by the Foundation Entertainment Group Limited since October 2011.[3]

Education

Qualified from RMIT Melbourne as a service engineer in the 1970s.
