Leaving the Church of Scotland

At a meeting on Tuesday 18 June 2013, 250 members of the congregation unanimously voted to leave the Church of Scotland over the way it handled the issue of gay clergy. As of 21 June 2013, the other Church of Scotland kirks in the Western Isles, Kinloch and Tarbert, are also considering their position.
