The TNA Hall of Fame is a hall of fame that honors professional wrestlers and wrestling personalities, established and maintained by the U.S.-based national wrestling promotion Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. It is announced at either Slammiversary or Impact Wrestling and the ceremony takes place prior to Bound for Glory with a speech at Bound for Glory. However in 2015 two were inducted in to the Hall of Fame, Jeff Jarrett, who did not have a ceremony due to his actions with the company leading to a lethal lockdown match to debunk him and his shares, while Earl Hebner was inducted at a TNA live event.
It was officially established on the May 31, 2012 episode of TNA's flagship Impact Wrestling television program. As explained by TNA president Dixie Carter in the official press release, the Hall of Fame was created as part of the celebration of TNA's 10th anniversary, and as a way to honor those who contributed to TNA's history.
Sting was the first inductee in (2012), with Kurt Angle (2013), Team 3D (2014), Jeff Jarrett and Earl Hebner (2015), and Gail Kim (2016) following in subsequent years (Kim becoming the first female inductee).
As of 2016, there have been six wrestlers inducted in total - four individually, and one group induction. There has also been one referee induction [1][2][3]
