Taifun is the debut studio album by Indonesian pop-blues group Barasuara. The album was released on October 16, 2015 through Juni Suara Kreasi and distributed by Demajors. The album's lead single, “Bahas Bahasa” on September 16 and released on iTunes. Before holding a tour, the group returned releasing second single "Sendu Melagu".[1]

To promote the album, Barasuara embarked the Taifun Tour in May 2016.[2] The group will hold several shows in six Indonesian cities, began in Yogyakarta, Malang, Surabaya, Solo, Bandung and the last in Jakarta.[3] The album was nominated for The Best Album at the 2015 Hai Reader’s Poll Music Awards. At the 3rd Indonesian Choice Awards, Taifun was nominated for Album of the Year, but lost to Isyana Sarasvati's Explore!.
