Takanlı is a village in Mersin Province, Turkey. It is a part of Mezitli district which is an intracity district of Greater Mersin. It is situated in the peneplain at the South of Toros Mountains. At 36°48′N 34°26′E / 36.800°N 34.433°E the distance to Mersin was 23 kilometres (14 mi). The population is 358[1] as of 2012.
