The Water Club is an American traditional cuisine restaurant moored on a barge on the East River at East 30th Street (enter on East 23rd Street; adjacent to the FDR Drive and south of the East 34th Street Heliport) in Murray Hill, in Manhattan, New York City.[2][3][4][5]
The restaurant, whose view faces Queens, serves classic American cuisine and seafood.[6][7]
The restaurant is leased from the city's economic development corporation, and the rent is determined by the amount of revenue. The New York City Comptroller issued a report in 2011 alleging that the Water Club was understating its revenue by failing to record some cash sales.[8]
