"This Is My Life" is a eurodance song, sung by the Icelandic pop duo Eurobandið. It was Iceland's entry at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2008 placing 14th in a field of 25th.
Background
"This Is My Life", along with its Icelandic version, "Fullkomið líf", has been described as a "full-on dance anthem with a pounding beat" and "soaring vocals".[1] The Icelandic version was used during the Icelandic national final for the Eurovision Song Contest 2008, Laugardagslögin.
At Eurovision
"This Is My Life" was chosen to be presented first at the second semi-final where it was placed eighth with 68 points. In the final, the song came in 14th place, gaining 64 points. Although ranking only 14th, it became the most successful Icelandic entry since the Eurovision Song Contest 2003 where Iceland placed 8th.

"This Is My Life" entered the Danish Singles Charts on the week of May 30, 2008, at #38 and remained there for one week. It entered the Swedish Singles Chart the following week (June 5, 2008) where it peaked at #59, also remaining for one week.
