Tomasz Jerzy Vetulani (born 21 December 1965 in Kraków)[1] is a Polish artist, plastic, painter, drawer and sculptor; since the 1990s also a citizen of the Netherlands.

Biography

He was born in 1965 in Kraków as a second son of Jerzy and Maria Vetulani. He was baptized by bishop Karol Wojtyła.[2] He attended Witkowski High School, in 1991 he graduated from Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków and emigrated to Netherlands, where he currently lives and works.[1][3] He lives in a registered concubinage and has three children.[4]

In his painting among other techniques Vetulani often uses sketch and watercolour, he works with oil paint and silicone.[5] Despite being an atheist he doesn't reject Christian tradition influence. He looks for an inspiration in religion themes and architecture, as well as in the surrounding nature and Dutch landscape.[3][5]
