Tomoya Ohtani (大谷 智哉 Ōtani Tomoya, born July 1, 1974, in Tokyo, Japan) is a Japanese video game composer and musician who works for Sega, where he has been one of the sound directors for the Sonic the Hedgehog series since 2008.[1][2][3][4][5][6] Ohtani also performs live musical pieces from the Sonic series on bass guitar, often alongside fellow Sega musician Jun Senoue.[2]
