Trawniki [travˈniki] is a village (German: Trawnig, changed between 1934 and 1938 to Grünweide) in the administrative district of Gmina Pawłowiczki, within Kędzierzyn-Koźle County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) north-west of Pawłowiczki, 17 km (11 mi) west of Kędzierzyn-Koźle, and 40 km (25 mi) south of the regional capital Opole.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).
