Turang is a town and municipality in Gulmi District in the Lumbini Zone of central Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 4383 persons living in 1044 individual households.[1] Turang VDC consists of total 9 wards. Majuwa Bazer is the economic and educational center of Turang VDC.
