The University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center is a cancer center located in Madison, Wisconsin. A part of the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, it has been designated a comprehensive cancer center by the National Cancer Institute.[1] The center conducts research, provides treatment, and offers training. Originally named the UW Comprehensive Cancer Center, it was renamed in 2006 for Paul P. Carbone, the long-time director of the facility. The center employs 2,300 and treats 20,000 patients per year.[2]
