Villafranca Sicula is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Agrigento in the Italian region Sicily, located about 60 kilometres (37 mi) south of Palermo and about 40 kilometres (25 mi) northwest of Agrigento. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,496 and an area of 17.7 square kilometres (6.8 sq mi).[1]

Villafranca Sicula borders the following municipalities: Burgio, Calamonaci, Caltabellotta, Lucca Sicula.

The Roman Catholic cardinal Salvatore Pappalardo (September 23, 1918 Villafranca Sicula - Dec 10, 2006 Palermo), archbishop emeritus of Palermo, is a well-known native of Villafranca Sicula.
