Vitex divaricata is a tree shrub of the Caribbean native to Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.[2] Its Spanish vernacular names include higüerillo[3] and higuerillo.[2] Its English vernacular name is white fiddlewood.[4] It belongs to the order of Lamiales.[2][1][5][6] This tree is common in the Toro Negro State Forest.[3]
