WCCA-TV is the Public-access television cable TV station in Worcester, Massachusetts. It is seen on cable channel 194 in Worcester and on line at http://www.wccatv.com. Streaming live with thousands of community produced videos available for "on demand" viewing. WCCA TV ( formally WCCA TV 13 ) is a 501 (C)(3) non-profit Community Anchor Institution that stands for Media Democracy, Media Literacy, Creative Innovation and provides public access and training and educational workshops for people of all ages in television, TV journalism, and video production. The station has a professional staff to assist and train persons interested in creating their own television programs and telling their own story in a free speech inclusive and participatory culture. There are several non-profit organizations and agencies that utilize WCCA TV as a venue for public service announcements, meeting space, television/media production and more. Many local performing artists, business leaders, community activists, and public officials appear on WCCA TV each week. Also, WCCA TV offers a public computer lab Monday-Friday for free computer and internet usage. WCCA TV offers year round technology education classes and workshops for all ages, including after school and summer youth training programs.
