Wang Huiqin (Chinese: 汪慧琴; pinyin: Wāng Huìqín; born 21 October 1955) is a Chinese Slovenian painter, illustrator and calligrapher.[1]

Wang Huiqin was born in Nantong, China in 1955. She graduated from Art School in 1982 and continued her art studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana. She lives and works in Ljubljana. Her creative medium is primarily painting and she also collaborates with the Department for Asian and African Studies at the Arts Faculty of the University of Ljubljana where she teaches calligraphy and chinese art.[2] She has also illustrated a number of children's books for Slovene publishers, most often tales and stories with far eastern references.[3]

In 1993 she won the Levstik Award for her illustrations of traditional stories of Chinese minorities Brokatna podoba (Brocade Image).[4]
