William L. Proctor (born January 27, 1933) is an American politician and university administrator. He is the current Chancellor of Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida.[1][2]
Early life and education
Proctor attended the University of Florida, Stetson University, and Florida State University. He received his both his Master's degree and Doctorate from Florida State University. In addition, Proctor served in the United States Army Reserve from 1954 through 1964.
Proctor was a member of the Florida House of Representatives.
Florida State Seminoles
In 2007, Proctor was named the interim athletic director for the Florida State Seminoles, serving until Randy Spetman was hired as the permanent athletic director in February 2008.[3]
