Wingo is a Colombian low-cost airline based in Bogotá and a fully owned subsidiary of Copa Airlines Colombia. It operates scheduled services to domestic and international destinations in Latin America from its base at El Dorado International Airport with a fleet of Boeing 737-700 aircraft.

History

Copa Holdings, S.A., the parent company of the Panamanian airline Copa Airlines and the Colombian airline Copa Airlines Colombia, announced the creation of Wingo on 20 October, 2016,[3] with operations due to start on 1 December 2016 using a fleet of four Boeing 737-700 aircraft.[4]

Wingo will operate as a Copa Airlines Colombia unit, with completely autonomous structures for its commercialization, distribution systems, and customer service.[5]
