Wye School is a mixed free school based in Wye, Kent, England. It opened in 2013 and is operated by United Learning.[4] The school caters for students aged 11–18 years.[2]
The school was established despite opposition from Kent local education authority[5] and the local parish council.[5] It is currently a 3 form entry school admitting 90 pupils,[6] was over-subscribed in its second academic year,[6] and is expected to have approximately 600 students on roll when full.[6] The opening of the school created a property boom in the Wye area.[7]
Ofsted
In June 2015, the school had its first Ofsted inspection, when the school was adjudged to be "Good".[8]
