Yatawatte Purana Vihara (Sinhalaː යටවත්තේ පුරාණ විහාරය) (or Vidyaravinda Maha Pirivena) is an ancient Buddhist temple in Gampaha, Sri Lanka. It lies on Gampaha – Pahalagama main road, approximately 1 km (0.62 mi) away from the Gampaha town. It is believed that the history of this temple is goes back to the period of Kandy era. Currently this temple has been formally recognised by the Government as an archaeological site in Sri Lanka.[1]
