Zoltan Sabo (Serbian Cyrillic: Золтан Сабо, Hungarian: Zoltán Szabó; born 26 May 1972 in Belgrade) is a retired Serbian professional football player. He is currently employed as a head coach in FK Jagodina.

Career

After playing in Serbian top-flight teams, such as FK Vojvodina and FK Partizan during the 1990s, he moved in 2000 to South Korea, to play in the K-League club Suwon Samsung Bluewings where he played three seasons. in 2003 he moved to Japan to play in J2 League club Avispa Fukuoka. He also played in Hungarian National Championship I club Zalaegerszegi TE, and in Cyprus in AEK Larnaca, before returning to Serbia to play, first, half a season in FK Mladost Apatin, then in FK Cement Beočin where he ended his playing career.

After retiring he began his coaching career, first with Kecskemeti TE in the Hungarian NB2, after two historic years in Kecskemeti TE he took charge of Serbian First League side FK Radnicki Sombor, before taking charge of Serbian SuperLiga side FK Hajduk Kula, which was the club where he started his professional career as player in 1990. In 2012 he joined Zlatomir Zagorcic in Serbian SuperLiga side FK Vojvodina, later he moved on with Bulgarian Premier League side Litex Lovech as an assistant coach. After a short spell at Serbian SuperLiga side FK Donji Srem he came back to Serbian SuperLiga side FK Vojvodina as an assistant coach of Zlatomir Zagorcic and had an good season with almost qualifying to UEFA Europe League. Later he was the head coach of Serbian First League side FK Proleter Novi Sad
