The 1954 Argentine Grand Prix was a Formula One motor race held at Autódromo 17 de Octubre in Buenos Aires, Argentina on 17 January 1954. It was the first round of the 1954 World Drivers' Championship.
This was Juan Manuel Fangio's first home victory, following Alberto Ascari's win in 1953. He would repeat this with three consecutive victories in the following three years.

Notes
- This race was run in an anti-clockwise direction, as opposed to clockwise the year before, and all subsequent races.
- Ascari and Villoresi were not present due to the Lancia car not being ready.
- Bayol scores his first career points.
- Records tied or broken: Farina gets his 17 podium finish (this ties Ascari), and his 22 race to score points (this gives him sole possession of the record).
- First Race: Maserati 250F.
- Farina scored the pole position at an age of 47 years and 79 days, which still is a record today.
