The 2006/2007 season of the Pakistan Premier League was the 52nd season of Pakistan domestic football. The football season was moved from the summer to the winter months.
In another season contested by WAPDA, Army and KRL, it was Army who beat the other teams to the title, to win it for the second year running.
Pakistan Army keeper Jaffar Khan set a new Pakistani record by remaining unbeaten for 1170 minutes. Pakistan Army only conceding 3 goals is a new record.
Pakistan Army represented Pakistan at the 2007 AFC President's Cup by virtue of being the national champions. The AFC President's Cup 2007 will be staged in Lahore.
HBL along with PTCL, who withdrew from the league at the beginning of the season, have been relegated to the B-Division (PFF League).
PTV Islamabad (Champions B-Division/PFF League) and Punjab Medical College (PMC) Faisalabad (Runners-up B-Division/PFF League) will play in the 2007/08 Premier League
