The 2015 League of Ireland season was Cork City's 31st year competing in the League of Ireland and 4th consecutive season in the Premier Division. It was Manager, John Caulfield's 2nd year in charge of the Rebel Army after a very successful 2014 season which saw Cork City finish 2nd in the league. The Leesiders equaled their final league position from 2014, again losing out to 2015 Champions Dundalk. Cork City also reached the 2015 FAI Cup Final, but again Dundalk proved too strong, beating City 1-0 AET.
