The 2016–17 New York Knicks season is the 71st season of the franchise in the National Basketball Association (NBA). On June 2, 2016, the Knicks announced Jeff Hornacek as their new head coach.[1]
The off-season dominated with the acquisitions of former Chicago Bulls players Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah.
