Anara is a small town in Para block, Purulia district, West Bengal, India near the Adra Junction (about 14 km). population was 5,517 at the 2011 Indian census.Here situated a saheb bandh as well as Purulia and Adra. A baneswar dham ,which is too much popular,is also situated here .
There are two high school in anara. The distance between bus station and railway station is not so far. It is pleasant and peaceful place in the purulia. It is surounded by various villages.
