Bazargan (Persian: بازرگان; also Romanized as Bāzargān and Bāzergān; also known as Bāzarqān)[1] is a city in and the capital of Bazargan District, in Maku County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. It is the most important Iranian ground border for importing and exporting. At the 2006 census, its population was 9,047, in 2,126 families.[2]
