Bedias (/ˈbds/ BEE-dyse) is a city in Grimes County, Texas, United States at the intersection of State Highway 90 and Farm Roads 1696 and 2620, twenty-nine miles northeast of Navasota in northeast Grimes County. It was incorporated as a city in 2003[1] and had an estimated population of 442 in 2009.[2]

The City of Bedias and the surrounding area is served by the Madisonville Consolidated Independent School District.

Climate

The climate in this area is characterized by hot, humid summers and generally mild to cool winters. According to the Köppen Climate Classification system, Bedias has a humid subtropical climate, abbreviated "Cfa" on climate maps.[5]
