Bhait is a village in Kapurthala district of Punjab State, India. It is located 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) from Kapurthala , which is both district and sub-district headquarters of Bhait. The village is administrated by a sarpanch, an elected representative of the village.[1]

Demography

According to the report published by Census India in 2011, Bhait has a total number of 207 houses and population of 988 of which include 508 males and 480 females. Literacy rate of Bhait is 78.54%, higher than state average of 75.84%.
