Campeonato Brasileiro de Basquete
The Campeonato Brasileiro de Basquete (Brazilian Basketball League) was the main men's professional basketball league in Brazil. The championship was organized by the Brazilian Basketball Confederation (CBB). During the 2005-06 season, the tournament was canceled due to a dispute with the NLB ("Nossa Liga de Basquete"), led by former player Oscar Schmidt.
The championship had organizational problems, and in 2004, were nicknamed "Liga do Busão" ("bus league"), due to transportation by bus, as the CBB wouldn't pay for it, and airplanes tickets were too expensive. It was later replaced by the Novo Basquete Brasil (NBB) in 2008 and organized by the Liga Nacional de Basquete (LNB).

Taça Brasil de Basquete
