Cannabis in Arizona is legal for medical uses, but prohibited for recreational use.

Medical marijuana (2010)

In 2010, Proposition 203, legalizing medical marijuana, was passed by voters, after passage of legally flawed initiatives in 1996 and 1998, and failure of a 2002 initiative.

Recreational cannabis

Failed attempt (2016)

In 2016, Proposition 205 to legalize recreational cannabis appears as a legalization initiative on the November ballot.[1] The measure failed, 47.8–52.2.[2]
