Château d'Heilly

The Château d'Heilly are the listed ruins of a historic castle in Heilly, Somme, Picardy, France.

History

The castle was built in the 18th century.[1] It was redesigned by of architect Contant d'Ivry in 1840.[1] That same year, the gate was moved to the Château de Bertangles.[2]

It was demolished in 1848, and turned into a quarry.[1]

Architectural significance

The ruins have been listed as an official historical monument by the French Ministry of Culture since 2009.[1]
