College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan (abbreviated as CPSP) is an autonomous institution offering certification following postgraduate training in specialties of Medicine, Surgery & Dentistry. It is also the only examination body in Pakistan awarding degrees of FCPS, DCPS, MCPS.^{[1][2][3][4][5]}

The College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan was incorporated through Ordinance of 1962 issued on 19 May 1962.

CPSP Library

The Library of the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan was established in 1965 and since its inception has acquired latest medical literature and served as a focal point in supporting postgraduate medical education.

• King Fahad Medical City, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in Internal Medicine
• Medical Council in Ireland provide training for graduates after 2009 in Anaesthesia, Emergency Medicine and Surgery,^[7][8]
• Various Medical Institutes in Nepal ^[9]

International Courses conducted by CPSP

CPSP is the only institute in Pakistan which conducts official ATLS and ACS courses.^[10]

Awards

College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan was awarded "Best postgraduate institution of the world" in 2013 by Socrates Committee Of Europe Business Assembly^[11][12]
