Cuiabá Light Rail (Portuguese: VLT de Cuiabá) is an under construction light rail system that is planned to be the principal transit system in the Brazilian city of Cuiabá, Mato Grosso. It is planned to open the system for public service in December 2014.
The light rail system is designed to connect Cuiabá ("Centro Político Administrativo") with Cuiabá International Airport in the city of Várzea Grande.[1]

Cuiabá's Light Rail is planned to be 22 kilometres (14 mi) in length,[2] operating on two lines:
