The D. E. Makepeace Company is a historic industrial building at 46 Pine Street in Attleboro, Massachusetts. It is a large U-shaped wood frame structure, three stories in height. Bands of sash windows line each level, with entrances in the U and on the outside near the corner of Pine and Dunham Streets. The building was constructed in 1900 for the D. E. Makepeace Company, a firm which specialized in plating precious metals that was one of the area's largest employers. It is one of the last surviving wooden industrial buildings in Attleboro; it has been converted to residential use.[2]
The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.[1]
