Doom Dooma (Pron:/ˌduːm ˈduːmə/) is a town and a town area committee in Tinsukia district in the state of Assam, India.


Demographics

Doom Dooma is a Town Committee city in district of Tinsukia, Assam. The Doom Dooma city is divided into 10 wards for which elections are held every 5 years. The Doom Dooma Town Committee has population of 21,572 of which 11,476 are males while 10,096 are females as per report released by Census India 2011.

Population of Children with age of 0-6 is 2423 which is 11.23 % of total population of Doom Dooma (TC). In Doom Dooma Town Committee, Female Sex Ratio is of 880 against state average of 958. Doom Dooma (Vidhan Sabha constituency) is one of the 126 assembly constituencies of Assam. In this recent election Congress won the election.
