El Buh (Somali: Ceelbuh) is a town in the northwestern Sanaag region of Somalia.[1]
Overview
El Buh is located in the El Buh District.
In the late 2000s, the town was a part of the briefly-extant Maakhir state, before being officially incorporated into the autonomous Puntland region in 2009.[2]
Local control is disputed between Puntland, Somaliland, a self-declared independent republic that is internationally recognized as an autonomous region of Somalia.[3]
