El Raja Sporting Club is a football club from the city of Marsa Matruh. The club was promoted to Egyptian Premier League for the first time in 2013.[1] The team avoided relegation in the 2013–14 Egyptian Premier League season by defeating Telephonat Beni Suef 1–0 in the relegation play-off.

The team currently plays at Harras El-Hedoud Stadium which has a capacity of 22,000.
