Eloi Amagat Aridany (born 21 May 1985), known simply as Eloi, is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for Girona FC as an attacking midfielder.

Club career

Born in Girona, Catalonia, Eloi began his career with hometown side Girona FC, being loaned to neighbouring FC Palafrugell and CF Gavà for two of the following three seasons.[1] In the 2008 summer, after helping his parent club promote to Segunda División for the first time in 49 years, he joined Lorca Deportiva CF also in Segunda División B, meeting the opposite fate at the season's end.

In November 2009, Eloi signed for UE Llagostera, in Tercera División.[2] He scored eight goals in his second year to help his team reach the third level for the first time ever.

On 5 July 2012, Eloi returned to Girona and division two, signing a one-year contract with an option to a further season.[3] He made his debut in the competition on 18 August, against neighbours CE Sabadell FC;[4] the following weekend he netted his first goal in the league, playing five minutes and contributing to a 5–1 away routing of CD Guadalajara.[5]
