Esther Obeng Dapaah (born on 18 January 1945) is a Ghanaian female politician and a lawyer. She is currently the Member of Parliament and served John Agyekum Kufuor as a Minister of Lands, Forests and Mines.[1][2][3]

She has been  the Member of Parliament in Ghana  since 2004 for the  Abirem constituency   She was one time Chairman of the Committee for Women and Children and currently  a member of the Committee for Constitutional and Legal Affairs (Committee on Constitutional and Legal Affairs).[4][5][6] She was also a member of the Pan-African Parliament

Early life

Esther comes from Nkwarteng, in Eastern Region of Ghana. She was born on 18 May 1945.

Education

Esther is a Lawyer by profession she had her LLB from Chelmer Institute of Education Essex in 1977.She received a BL from Lincoln's Inn in 1978 and from the Ghana School of Law in 1979.[7]

Personal life

Esther is a Christian and a member of the Church of Pentecost
